Our Work

First: It's our Founder's favorite  bird - since childhood. Growing up on the Gulf Coast she was always - and remains - in awe of its determination, 'knowing,' and beauty.

The Brown Pelican also happens to be an iconic and great reminder of the perils of The Gulf.  The Brown Pelican is a great navigator, protector and a beacon for all of us who care so deeply about The Ocean.

Our hearts are with The Gulf.  And while The Gulf is a small area of The Ocean, it represents what can & will happen; it also represents all that can be.

^ The Ocean, The Gulf must be healthy

^ The Ocean, The Gulf must be given standing

It's not enough.  But maybe it's enough to get some more things started.  And while we are working somewhat anonymously, these grants will be made very public - bringing attention to the GOOD WORKS underway and launching.  

Our grants will help things along; but perhaps more importantly, our grants will help bring attention to the needs and YOUR good, deserving work!

The money is never enough.  We get it.  

We got here after many, many years of 'making things happen.'  We are 'been there, done that' people who have led businesses, communities, non-profits, NGOs, political campaigns, and policy initiatives...successfully.  

Take our money.  And while you're at it...take advantage of our knowledge and skills to help get it done.
